May 2020 Newsletter

Welcome to the Lucy Fry Bespoke Poetry May newsletter;  yes it is a while since my last newsletter!  The reason is that this lock down and home educating has had a big impact on time.  But back to business today and I'm delighted to announce that the winner of the   competition at the end of February was Sarah Noyes.  Sarah is going to have an ode for a Bride to Be for a hen weekend.  The hen do has been delayed to the new yar but I am really looking forward to creating something brilliant for Sarah. April saw a spike in requirements for landmark birthday odes and I loved writing some great tributes for 40, 50 and 70 year old birthday celebrations.   I wish I could see the recipient faces when they see and hear theirs for the first time!      At this time of lock down receiving such a personal gift is super, especially as some shops have been closed.  So give me a shout if you've just remembered someone you know with a special birthday coming up.                                                          Unfortunately due to Corona virus the Spiral Events Wedding Fayre in Southampton had to be cancelled.  When things get back to normal or a new normal we look forward to attending a rescheduled event.     In the mean time Spiral Events are organising an online fayre https://www.spiralevents.co.uk/online-wedding-fayre so feel free to head over there for my details and other wedding suppliers.  Here's a little https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m3Mwq0isgk&t=8s
