Ode to No
I've just finished reading Sarah Knight's "F**K No". It's a brilliant comprehensive guide for those who find it difficult to decline an invitation or request which then has a detrimental impact. How to say no to things that you can't do, that you shouldn't do and best of all, that you just don't want to do. It inspired this little ode ....

An invitation to a party to which you don’t want to go
And it’s not your idea of fun to run 5K through snow
An upcoming hen do for which you don’t have the doh
It’s OK, it’s fine to just say “no!”
When joining that committee impacts your mojo
And an impending project makes you feel low
A request for help from a person who never says “hello”
It’s OK, it’s fine, to just say “no!”
When your family expect favours in constant flow
And a random request will upset your status quo
When expectation is that of course you will go
It’s OK, it’s fine, to just say “no!”
Or... "F**k No" – if you’re Sarah Knight.
